My name is Dave, and I’m a 26 year old software engineer living in San Francisco, CA. I decided to escape the cubicle this summer, and embark on a two-month-long backpacking journey through several countries in Western Europe.
I’ll be attending my friend JB’s wedding in France at the end of July, but other than that I have no timetable or specific itinerary–just my EuroRail pass, and my backpack.
I’ll be avoiding computers as much as possible during this trip, but I’ll post quick updates and pictures now and then so keep checking back! (or if you’re tech-savvy, you can subscribe to the RSS feed…)
